Challenges

St-Jacques had previously worked with another agency, but the results didn’t meet expectations. Approach

Zharkwave built a dual-channel Google Ads campaign strategy.
Search campaigns targeted both brand and non-brand keywords around restaurants near me, fine dining, romantic dinners, and French cuisine.
Meanwhile, Performance Max supported broader discovery across Google’s ecosystem, optimized for location-based conversions like calls, reservations, and direction clicks.

  • Observed strong interest during Fridays and weekends, with spikes around 5–7 p.m.
  • Noted that Google Business Profile had untapped potential in driving direct actions.

Audit

Our ads specialist made a thorough audit of their current ads that are running, and we found:
  • UTM and conversion tracking were incomplete for WhatsApp and reservation CTAs.
  • Previous Search ads were broad keywords only, missing opportunity to attract new high intent reservations.
